Special Service Campaign for the Brake Actuator Assembly inspection/replacement on certain Toyota Alphard Models
|Alphard||18||January 22, 2015||to||January 26, 2015|
An improperly shaped component inside the ABS Actuator Assembly may have been damaged during press fitting assembly process, creating minute resin fragments. Fragment/s of the resin component may get stuck in the ABS Brake Actuator. In this condition, the oil pressure control may be delayed upon activation of the ABS function, which may cause loss of vehicle stability.
Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through an Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to perform reprogramming on Brake Actuator ECU at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.
Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
