Special Service Campaign for the Brake Vacuum Hose inspection/replacement on certain Toyota Supra Models

The following Toyota models are affected by the Special Service Campaign for the Brake Vacuum Hose inspection and/or replacement:
Involved Units
Production period
Innova 1,268 August 16, 2019 to October 11, 2019
Fortuner 741
Total 2,009

Involved vehicles are equipped with a brake vacuum hose. Due to an improper vulcanization machine process, the hardness of the hose may be insufficient. If the vehicle is kept driving, the hose deforms, and in the worst case, braking assist could be lost resulting in an increased brake pedal effort being required to stop the vehicle and an increase of the vehicle stopping distance.

Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to inspect and/or replace Brake Vacuum Hose with a new one at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at

Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
