Special Service Campaign for Front Shock Absorber Nut on certain Toyota Avanza, Veloz and Yaris Cross models

As part of its corporate commitment to product safety and quality, Toyota has launched a Special Service Campaign to retighten the front shock absorber nut in certain models particularly Avanza, Veloz and Yaris Cross.
In the Philippine market, the Special Service Campaign will cover a total of 40,308 officially sold vehicles:

Due to incorrect tightening instructions for the front shock absorber nuts, these nuts may not be adequately tightened. If the vehicle is operated continuously in this condition, the nuts may become loose, causing abnormal noise. In worst case, these nuts may come off, posing a risk to vehicle stability.

Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealers to retighten the Front shock absorber nut and inspect for any missing or damaged related parts. The remedy will be performed at NO CHARGE to vehicle owners. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.

Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
