Special Service Campaign for the Power Management ECU reprogram on certain Toyota Prius Models

The following Toyota models are affected by the Special Service Campaign for the Power Management ECU inspection and/or reprogram:
Model
Involved Units
Production period
Prius 65 April 16, 2009 to April 3, 2013
Total 65

Covered vehicles are designed to enter a failsafe driving mode in response to certain hybrid system faults. Toyota has found that in rare situations, the vehicle may not enter a failsafe driving mode as intended. If this occurs, the vehicle could lose power and stall. While power steering and braking would remain operational, a vehicle stall while driving at higher speeds could increase the risk of a crash.

Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to inspect and/or reprogram the Power Management ECU at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.

Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.

For more information or further inquiries, Customers may contact any authorized Toyota Dealerships or Toyota's Customer Assistance Center (CAC) Hotline +632 8819 2912, email us at [email protected] or direct message through TMP official Facebook page, or 'Contact Support' via MyToyotaPH app.
