The Power Window Master Switch may have been manufactured with insufficient lubricant grease. If not enough grease is applied, under certain conditions the switch may develop a short circuit that can cause the switch assembly to overheat and melt.
Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to inspection and application of specialized grease on the Power Window Master Switch Assembly, and if necessary, replace the Switch Board with a new one at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.
Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
