As part of its corporate commitment to product safety and quality, Toyota has launched a Customer Satisfaction Campaign to replace the front disc brake cylinder slide pin boot in certain models particularly Raize, Avanza and Veloz.
In the Philippine market, the Special Service Campaign will cover a total of 10,975 officially sold vehicles:
Model
Involved Units
Production period
Raize 4,345 September 12, 2022 to December 7, 2022
Avanza 3,119 September 12, 2022 to December 11, 2022
Veloz 3,511 September 12, 2022 to December 13, 2022

Due to the assemble fault at the brake caliper assembly line, the assembly tools interfered with the slide pin boots during assembly, it caused damage on the boots. If the water enters in the slide pin boots and cause the rust, it may lead to early wear of the brake pads.

Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealers to replace the front disc brake cylinder slide pin boot and if necessary, replace the brake cylinder mounting. The remedy will be performed at NO CHARGE to vehicle owners. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.
