The subject vehicles are equipped with front lower suspension arms connecting the front wheels to thevehicle front cross member. Due to certain improper production conditions that occurred at the steel materialsupplier, a steel slab that was used to produce the front lower suspension arms may have had cracks on someportions of its surface. If a vehicle with an affected front lower suspension arm(s) is driven frequently withrapid acceleration and deceleration over its lifetime, the cracks in the affected arm(s) could propagate andthe suspension arm can eventually separate from the front wheel assembly. This may result in a loss of vehiclecontrol and increase the risk of a crash.

Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through an Official Notification Letter and willbe invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to replace the front lower suspension arms with a new one, at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://online.toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.

Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
